Meet Kortney M. Kloppe-Orton: Your Partner in Business and Estate Law.
Raised in a family business, Kortney M. Kloppe-Orton graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992 and earned her J.D. from the University of Chicago in 1995. She then served as a briefing attorney for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Texas.
Kortney spent the next two decades working on disputes related to closely held businesses, trusts, and estates. When Kortney unexpectedly took on the role of general counsel for her own family's business in 2014, she discovered her experience could help prevent and resolve conflicts before they escalated. In 2019, she took over as chairman of board.
Now, Kortney's practice is devoted to serving fellow small business owners in San Antonio like you. and helping you protect and pass on your legacy to the next generation.
She is a member of the Texas Bar, the Real Estate, Probate and Trust law section of the Texas Bar and the San Antonio Bar Association.
